Motilal Oswal has come out with its first quarter (April-June’ 20) earnings estimates for the IT sector. The brokerage house expects Wipro to report net profit at Rs. 2,164.1 crore down 7.7% quarter-on-quarter (down 9.9% year-on-year).

Net Sales are expected to decrease by 4.5 percent Q-o-Q (up 2 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs. 15,098.8 crore, according to Motilal Oswal.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to fall by 12.3 percent Q-o-Q (down 6.2 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs. 2,314.5 crore.
