End of 6th over: So, the powerplay comes to an end and SRH are off to a sedate start with 40 on the board for the loss of Jonny Bairstow (5).

has now brought Kuldeep Yadav into the attack. SRH 40/1

4.4 overs: SIX! Stand and deliver! A towering strike from Manish Pandey off Shivam Mavi. It was in the arc for Manish and he wasted no time on that one. Slams it over the deep mid-wicket fence. SRH 31/1

3.6 overs: Bowled him! Top of off! Pat Cummins delivers for KKR. Wicket on the last ball of his second over. Castles Jonny Bairstow with a perfect length ball. Bairstow survived a review on the previous ball but could not take the advantage of that. He walks back for 5 off 10 as Cummins provides early breakthrough. SRH 24/1

2.6 overs: FOUR! And David Warner finishes the Sunil Narine over with a four towards the long-on region. The fielder was inside the circle and that made things pretty simple for Warner. SRH 22/0

2.3 overs: SIX! And here comes the first boundary of the match. A cracking strike from David Warner off Sunil Narine and the ball sails over the deep fence. That came right of the middle of Warner’s bat. SRH 16/0

End of 2nd over: An excellent start from Pat Cummins. Just 2 runs from his first over. The Australian is looking in good rhythm today. Sunil Narine to continue from the other end. SRH 8/0

End of 1st over: A tidy first over from Sunil Narine. Six runs from it as both David Warner and Jonny Bairstow are off the mark. Pat Cummins to share the new ball with Narine from the other end. SRH 6/0

0.1 overs: David Warner gets off the mark straightaway with a couple. Hits it down the ground and completes two runs before Pat Cummins cuts it off at long-on. SRH 2/0

TOSS NEWS: Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner wins toss, opts to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi.

Pitch report: “Bright sunshine in the middle. There is more of a pronounced green grass covering. We haven’t seen a lot of swing with the new ball, it will be interesting to see how it goes. The only advantage down the ground is that the wind will push the ball when you hit it but all in all, it’s a beautiful surface,” said Ian Bishop and JP Duminy.
